This fragrant wine is an excellent introduction to the winery Venus La Universal and its two founders, Sara Pérez (Mas Martinet) and René Barbier. Their commitment to producing wines that would express the essence of the Montsant mountain range gives products such as this one where floral and fruity aromas are ever present together with some mineral hints characteristic of the region’s soils.

It is made with a coupage of the Garnacha, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. Even though it can’t be considered a vintage wine, it has been aged for a short period. Hence, it boasts a subtle and pleasant spicy aroma.

It goes well with meat stews and blue fish.
