A natural sweet wine made with Alexandria muscat grapes harvested very late (mid-October). Yellow colour with lemon highlights. Aromas of white flowers and roses with delicate notes of citrus fruits, honey and spices. A rounded, velvety flavour, smooth and sweet but never cloying. Well-structured and with a good balance between acidity and sweetness, it has a very long persistence of flavours perfectly blended with its aromas.
We recommend drinking this sweet wine with dried fruits, biscuits and pastries or, for a more avant-garde match, with foie or blue cheese.
This excellent moscatell has obtained several Awards, amongst them the Silver Medal at the 5th International Wine Competition (Madrid 2002) and the Bronze Medal at the 7th Catalonia Wine-Tasting Contest (Giroví 2002). Moreover, the prestigious American wine writer Stephen Tanzer, from International Wine Cellar magazine, gave the 2005 vintage of this Moscatell a score of 90 out of 100.
