Description:
The Valle del Jerte’s cooperatives association brings us this eau-de-vie made with picota cherries grown in the area and renown for their meaty texture and intense taste.
To prepare it, only the best ripen cherries are chosen. Once the juice has been extracted, this is left to ferment naturally. Finally, it is distilled following artisan methods and is left to age for a year.
This delicious “aguardiente” puts the perfect end to any special meal. It is recommended to keep it in the freezer and serve and drink it very cold in small sips.
