Description:
Known as the ship’s chocolate, the firm Simón Coll makes delicious products with cocoa since 1840. Precisely, the illustration that appears in the wrapper evokes the long journeys the basic ingredients used to produde this chocolate had to cover to reach the town of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia.
Today, as 170 years ago, the cocoa beans come from Africa and America. Specifically, they travel all the way from Ghana where the cocoa has a stronger taste and from the indigenous communities of Ecuador that produce a more aromatic cocoa.
The beans are roasted whole in order to keep all the cocoa flavours. The powder milk added during the production process gives the attractive white colour.
The end result is this gourmet chocolate of mild, sweet and delicious taste, ideal to enjoy accompanied by a glass of cava.
