These delicious pears our preserved in Txakolí, a traditional Basque wine highly appreciated for its fruity aroma. It is made with grapes of the Hondarrabi variety.

Besides pears of the conference variety and Txakolí, this delicacy is made by also adding sugar, cinnamon, orange and lemon peel.

They make and excellent dessert accompanied by a sweet dry wine or a glass of cava.
