Description:
Majorcan cured sausage is known for its smooth and spicy taste and its spreadable texture -similar to a chorizo pâté-. A generous pinch of paprika gives the sobrassada its unique colour and flavour.
Spread it on a slice of bread and, for those who like to experiment, grill it with a slice of cheese on top. There are many ways to use this product in the kitchen, which mainly revolve around the preparation of sauces for pasta and rice and fillings for meat and vegetables.
This sobrassada has been made by the third generation of a Majorcan supplier who has been producing cured meats typical from the island since 1945.
