Cheese Beato de Tábara
Description:
This cheese full of nuances is made by a family run cheese maker located in a small village in western Spain.

The unpasteurized goat’s milk used comes from their own herd and each stage of the process is carried out with great care. The paste preparation, the manual pressing and salting and the constant supervision during the aging period ensure exquisite cheeses.

Its rind is silky and the interior turns from pale white into ivory during the two months that the cheese is left to mature. Its taste is slightly piquant and sweet with some hints of cereals and dry fruits.

It goes well with red wines produced in the same region under the D.O. Toro or with white wines from the D.O. Rueda.
